Ugandan-born Charles Wesley Mumbere, a former nurse's aide in Maryland and Pennsylvania, was crowned king of Uganda's 300,000-strong Rwenzururu Kingdom. Mumbere was sent to the US in 1984 as a young man in order to get an education. In 1987, he sought political asylum due to political upheaval in his country. He trained as a nurse's aide in the US and kept his royal status a secret for most of the last quarter century. The green card holder returned to Uganda earlier this month to assume the monarchy for his people. Good luck, King Charles.

Just a thought that as we have seen that the current president is know for taking quick decisions. Is there anyway we can get his attention to our cause. Does White house have a fx no# ? Send him faxes etc. and send to all presidential candidates too like Clinton, Obama to etc.
I think all the democratic candidates will take this issue as a failed system by Rep party in their debate

Hello,
Does anyone know if a H1B can be transferred from a University to a company? Has anyone gone through this process?
The present h1 position comes under university (non-profit) category. You cannot transfer your H1 to a company which falls under profitable category. You need to apply for a new H1 which falls under cap.

Dallas-Fort Worth Immigration Lawyer Has Just Posted the Following:
Beginning March 1, 2010, Mexico will require U.S. citizens to have valid passports when traveling to Mexico. Legal residents of the U.S. must have their green cards or other documents demonstrating legal status in the U.S.
This new rule by Mexican authorities shouldn't change travel habits, because it has been the law in the U.S. since June 2009 that U.S. travelers returning to this country from Mexico must show their passports.

Hi ,
I am going to tgransfer my H1 b with new employer .
My employer is going for normal processing and I asked him for premium processing as my project is going to end by Aug 2009 . Then My employer informed me that there are lot of RFEs for premium processing . Is it true ?
Please suggest whether I should go for premium or not ?
