    ...man so much noise...

    I'm finding the same thing with my D2H. Take a look at the auto photo I attached earlier today for the noise in the shadows there - yuck. I've also seen an exposure shifting problem during any kind of motordrive and autoexposure. If I select manual mode it seems to go away. But I've examined shot sequences where EXIF data indicates identical Aperture and Shutter and yet there is a shift. I wonder if these things have that much production variance to cause noise and calibration problems like this.

    date: when your GC was approved (when I485 was approved). Place, usually you enter the name of service center that worked on your I485. For instance, Nebraska Service Center.

    On a serious note, you just have to inform your (dependent's) employer and provide them a copy of your unexpired EAD. Thats it! The employer may require you to fill a new I9 form.

    I am sure there are others in the fine State of South Dakota besides me???
    I am a Canadian in the "Approved I-140, waiting for 485 Limbo" status. I have a prority date of March, 2004. I find IV a good source of both information and encouragement and I would like to know there are others near me who feel the same. Hope to hear from you soon?

    My company is filing 140 and 485 on a preapproved LC (PD of 2005)

    But my original LC in P-BEC just got cleared (PD of 2003). They told that they will also use my original LC for 140 as this gives better chance than the substituted one.

    1)How Can I have 2 140's ?

    3)How will it effect 485?

    I'm confused ..please answer

    I changed my employer 3 months back and didn't expect the dates to get current so soon. My labor with the new employer has just been filed. However, my previous employer told me that if I want to continue with my gc process with them, I need to be their employee again.
    Does it make sense for me to do this ? My 485 will not get filed until 10 days from now because I have yet to start with the paperwork.
    Will the dates retrogress by then? Please advise me folks.

    I applied under the EB1 B at the NSC in January 2010. A month later received an RFE challenging all 6 criteria. The RFE acknowledged some of my work. I sent in more evidence in April. After 2 months of no reply - I opened a SR. Then a month later, I received an RFE again. It was the same RFE with only the date changed. There was no acknowledgemnt of the additional paperwork sent in response to the first RFE.

    Any thoughts on how I should proceed.

    Can I count part time experience obtained before my Bachelors degree for an EB2 petition?

    I have 2.5 years of part time experience, can we use this and apply with MBA+1 requirements?

    Fancy meeting you here, dohko! The experience at half time can be counted to be 1/2 time itself - i.e. 2 years under 20 hrs./week = 1 yr. full time.
    Your experience however has to be obtained AFTER your Bachelor's degree.

    A friend of mine (Indian) is married to an Indonesian. Both are on H1B and have approved I-140s. Can my friend apply for a cross chargeability? Does it have to happen when my friends spouse's pd becomes current? or can it be done earlier?

    Hi,

    My I-140 finally got approved last week. I'm a concurrent July 2nd 2007 filer. My I-140 was initially denied and was approved on appeal. The process took some time and created a new problem for me.

    I looked at the USCIS website and they're currently working on cases filed on July 16. It seems my case (485) came and was passed on as my I-140 was pending at the time.

    What can I do now?

    Hi All,

    I have a simple question.

    I have my I-140 approved with some kind of receipt number.

    My lawyer filed my I-485 and it reached NSC on Aug 9, 2007.

    I have not recd. any I-485 receipt notice or number yet.

    Can i still track my I-485 progress using my I-140 receipt number on

    the USCIS website somehow ?

    No...you can visit the forums to gestimate when people who filed around your date are getting RN,

    ...but by the way things are, who knows what USCIS will do next!!
